Arpico Online – Terms & Conditions
1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers using Arpico Online, including browsing, purchasing products, accessing services, and participating in promotions. By placing an order or using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
2. Acceptable Use
Customers must use the Arpico Online platform responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any activity involving misuse, misrepresentation, fraud, or abuse of services may result in suspension or termination of access without prior notice.
3. Account Registration
Customers must be 18 years or older to create an account.
Information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and current.
Customers are responsible for updating their details if changes occur.
4. Account Security
Login credentials must be kept confidential.
All actions carried out through a registered account will be considered authorized by the account holder.
Arpico reserves the right to temporarily restrict or suspend accounts where suspicious or unauthorized activity is detected.
5. Product Information & Availability
We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, prices, and images displayed are accurate.
Product availability is subject to stock at the time of order processing.
Arpico reserves the right to correct errors, revise information, or cancel orders affected by inaccuracies.
6. Pricing & Payments
Prices displayed are subject to change without prior notice.
Payments must be made using approved payment methods available on the platform.
All applicable taxes and statutory charges will be applied as required by law.
7. Delivery Policy
Deliveries are made only to approved locations within Sri Lanka.
Delivery timelines may vary due to public holidays, weather conditions, or operational factors.
Customers (or authorized recipients) must be available to receive and acknowledge orders at the delivery location.
Once delivered, items are generally not eligible for return, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
8. Re-Delivery
If an order is not delivered within the expected time frame, the Arpico E-commerce team will coordinate with the relevant outlet or delivery partner to complete delivery as soon as possible.
9. Returns, Replacements & Refunds
Replacements
Replacement requests are accepted if items are damaged, defective, expired, missing, incorrect, or not as described.
Requests must be made:
Within 3 days of delivery for general items
On the same day of delivery for fresh or perishable items
Replacement approvals are subject to internal verification and authorization.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days after verification.
Supporting documents may be required, including order details, payment confirmation, and internal approval.
Refunds will be issued through the original payment method where applicable.
10. Promotions & Offers
All promotions are governed by specific terms communicated at the time of the offer.
Offers may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at Arpico’s discretion without prior notice.
Promotional benefits are non-transferable unless stated otherwise.

12. Intellectual Property

While we aim to provide uninterrupted access, Arpico does not guarantee continuous availability of the platform. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or technical issues.
14. Privacy & Data Protection
Customer information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data is collected and used solely for legitimate business, service delivery, and communication purposes.
15. Fraud Prevention
Arpico reserves the right to reject or cancel transactions, claims, or accounts suspected of fraudulent, misleading, or abusive behavior and to take appropriate action as necessary.
16. Limitation of Liability
Arpico shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the platform, except where liability is mandated under applicable laws.
17. Force Majeure
Arpico will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, system outages, labor disputes, or regulatory actions.
18. Polythene Bag Charge (Regulatory Compliance)
In compliance with applicable regulations, a bag charge may be applied at checkout based on estimated packaging requirements:
Bag Charges
Medium Bag – Rs. 3.00
Large Bag – Rs. 5.00
After packing, actual usage will be verified, and any excess amount will be adjusted or refunded.
Standard Online Bag Charge (Based on Order Value)
Up to Rs. 5,000 – Rs. 50
Up to Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 60
Up to Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 80
Above Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 100
19. Amendments
Arpico may revise these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be effective upon publication on official Arpico channels.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes shall be subject to local jurisdiction.
